AIMS Release Notes for Version 2007.1.1
Released January 20, 2007.
Changes to the AIMS for Windows (WinAIMS) software since Aug 2006 (v2006.8.1).
- Corrected problem with system date handling and inventory files.
- Corrected resize/display issues with Vehicle Maintenance Summary report.
- Will now print followups on Graphical style workorders
- Two new switches on printer setup screen
- Print Followups on WO
Yes means print them (default)
No means do not print them
- Separate Followup Section - only applicable if Print Followups On WO = Yes
Yes means print followups in separate section on workorder
No means print followups with the associated labor entry (default)
- Separate Followup Section, if enabled, will print on WO as
"____Recommended Service____" and will list followup date recommendation
as well as the first line of the labor description
(currently only implemented in graphical style)
- Added RepairCodes table, form, and switch
System>Global Switches allows you to turn this off/on.
Will allow you to specify a "Repair Code" or "Reminder Code"
of your own devising
for a labor.
This is future set up for followups plus can
be used if CustomerLink Interface is purchased.
- Can now use up/down arrow, page up/down, and home/end keys to
navigate through the Open/Closed/On Account workorder lists.
- Eliminated "File not found" crashes.
- Add non-stocked part to workorder defaults quantity and costs properly.
- Employee maintenance no longer crashes winAIMS if invalid dates are entered.
- Dates for Employee Maintenance now accept "*" for today's date.
- Daily Sales Report has an option to break out separate SALES categories
Changes to the WinAIMS Appointment Scheduler (WASched) since Aug, 2006 (v2006.8.1)
- Corrected problem with system date handling and inventory files.
- Contains associated updates for Repair/Reminder Codes (See WinAIMS Updates)
