AIMS Release Notes for Version 2006.8.1

Changes to the AIMS for Windows (WinAIMS) software since Feb 2006.

• Includes Mileage In and Out fields on graphical style workorder print
• Prints payment comments on graphical workorder
• Adds optional "Profit" column to Mechanic Detail Report
  (can be checked on the selection form; will be remembered between sessions)
• Payroll tax tables now stored in separate master file
• Corrected intermittent layout problems with Comparison Report
• Enhanced net pay calculations on Record Payroll
• Changed layout on Record Payroll to be easier to read
• Can now re-print paystub from Employee Payroll History
  (Includes optional capability to print SSN on paystub)
• When editing Employee Payroll Info, now have new flag to specify whether or not SSN should be printed on paystub
• Can now print Company Return Labels from the Customer/Vehicle menu
• Header information for workorders (during both edit and history lookup) is now displayed in a bolder, easier to read font
• Customer labels can now be printed on postcards in addition to labels - this will allows you to have blank or pre-printed postcards and have AIMS address them for you.
• Updated all help and About screens with new support contact information

Changes to the WinAIMS Appointment Scheduler (WASched) since Feb, 2006

• Prints Disclosure on Estimates
  • Printing the Disclosure is controlled by:
    System>Print Options...Print Disclosure on Estimate
  • Disclosure is from master file (Disclosure.txt) in data directory (usually C:\AIMS)
  • Edit disclosure file via Notepad or other text editor.
    
  • We do have a Sample Disclosure.txt file
    Right click on the link and select "Save Target As..."
    Browse to your AIMS data directory (C:\AIMS) and save the file as "Disclosure.txt"
• Prints full totals on Estimates
• Prints mileage (or fill in the blank) on Estimate
• Includes on Estimate the date and time it was printed
• Prints Mileage In and Out fill in the blank fields on Worksheets
• Updated all help and About screens with new support contact information
